The Local Basket app for iPhone and iPad

The Local Basket is designed to view all fruit and vegetables grown locally in Malta. It explains why this is so important, one of the reasons being the massive time and fuel consumption for foreign fruit and vegetables to actually arrive to Malta.

A separate section shows information about the water content found in these fruits and vegetables while comparing them to other foods such as meat.

However, what the application mainly includes are:

- List of all fruit and all vegetables grown locally here in Malta
- Information and tips on each one
- Months in which they season in Malta
- Recipes related to local fruit and vegetables
